Creamy, cheesy and oh so crave worthy. This Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls Recipe comes from the team at the Sonny’s in Buford, GA. Two Pitmasters took an ordinary party favorite and gave it a Sonny’s twist. Now, you can make it at home. Let’s get fryin’.


Behind the Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls

Before we get to “meat” of this recipe, there’s a little back story we’ve got to cover first. Every year, our Sonny’s Pitmasters get together to showcase their skills in the “Spirit of 68 Cookoff”. For one part of the competition, they work to cook up the best St. Louis Ribs they can. During the “Pitmaster Showcase”, however, they cook up a special creation of their own. That’s where these golden-brown beauties rolled in.

This delicious recipe was thought up by Pitmasters Melvin Dankins and Katie Tymon from the Sonny’s in Buford, GA. If you’re not sure where Buford is, it’s about 30-45 minutes northeast of Atlanta.

This dynamic duo, otherwise known as Team “Grate Expectations”, wanted to take an ordinary Buffalo Chicken Dip and get it to the next level. So what better way then throwin’ it in an egg roll wrapper. If you’re wondering, they served it with a Smokin’ Ranch dip, which you can get at any Sonny’s. For y’all at home, it’s a mixture of our Smokin’ BBQ Sauce and Ranch.
